Congratulations to Young at Heart who won the USTA State Championships in the 3.0 Senior Division! These ladies are heading to nationals on Oct 27 in Indian Wells, California! Best of luck, Aileen, Janine, Karen, Kathy, Geneva, Mindy & Denise!

Congratulations to our winners!  Please check the blog for registration for the Fall!  Deadline to sign up will be Aug 19 and the first day of play will be Sept 12.  All players must attend meeting on Aug 22 to draw for partners!

Old Tennis Balls

Don't throw away your old tennis balls, donate them to teachers!  Mrs. Laurie McNally from OLI and Mrs. Kim Precht from Ward are looking for old tennis balls to put under their classroom desks so their floors don't get scratched.  You can give them to the schools, Aimee or Tanya!  Thanks!

Tennis Clinic August 6

Ronnie Walters will host a tennis clinic at Jennings Elementary on August 6
8:30-10am - 3.0 Adult Clinic
10-11:30am - 3.5 Adult Clinic
Cost is $35

Junior Classes:
(6-9 year olds) Beginners– 12-1pm - $25
(10-14 year olds) Intermediate– 1-2pm-$25
Advanced Juniors (High School) 2-3pm - $25

There is a 30% chance of rain today in Jennings.  If you want to reschedule your match, you have two weeks to do so.  If you and your partner, and opponent decide to try to play today, then that is fine too.

Ronnie Walters Clinic May 21

Due to the rainy condition of the courts this past Saturday.

Rescheduled date will be May 21st at the Elementary School Courts
Focus will be on the volley, overhead, serve and doubles strategy

Classes are limited to 8 players & cost is $35.

Beginners Clinic 9:00-10:30am (2.0 to 2.5 Ladies)
Intermediate Clinic 10:30-12:00pm ( 3.0)
Intermediate-Advanced 12-1:30pm (3.5 to 4.0)

Junior Classes:
(6-9 year olds) Beginners– 1:30-2:30 - $25
(10-14 year olds) Intermediate– 2:30-3:30-$25
Advanced Juniors (High School) – 3:30-4:30pm - $25
