Summer League Registration

Summer league registration has begun!  Sign up by April 29!  Please remember that you must have a rating to sign up!  Drawing for partners will be May 2 at the Country Club at 5:45 PM.  Play will begin May 16.

Our Summer League will be al ittle different this time around. IF you are planning to move up to a different division, you must have a certain rating to advance.

For example:
To play 2.5-you must have a rating of 2.3 or greater
To play 3.0--you must have a rating of 2.8 or greater
To play 3.5--you must have a rating of 3.3 or greater

Ronnie Walters gave several of you a point rating such as "3.2" or "2.9" . We will be having a combo in the 3.5 division with the 3.3 or greater ratings. And, the same in the 3.0 division. Everyone had a rating last summer but you may want to have a pro take a look at your game!!! Because I've been watching you and games have changed!!! Every point counts!!!

April 30 Tennis Clinic

Ronnie Walters will host a tennis clinic
Saturday April 30 – focus will be on the volley, overhead, serve and doubles strategy

Classes are limited to 8 players & will be held on the Jennings Elementary Courts

Beginners Clinic 9:00-10:30am (2.0 to 2.5 Ladies)
Intermediate Clinic 10:30-12:00pm ( 3.0)
Intermediate-Advanced 12-1:30pm (3.5 to 4.0)
Cost is $35


Junior Classes:
(6-9 year olds) Beginners– 1:30-2:30 - $25
(10-14 year olds) Intermediate– 2:30-3:30-$25
Advanced Juniors (High School) – 3:30-5pm - $35

The Men's Golf Association at the Jennings Country Club is selling Jambalaya Dinners for Sunday April 17.  Tickets available for $6/plate.  Please pick up your tickets at the Country Club!

Chocolate Toffee Bars

Chocolate Toffee Bars

1/2 cup butter/margarine, melted
1-3/4 cup chopped chocolate Teddy Grahams
1 bag Heath Toffee Bits
6 Heath Bars, chopped
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or more!!!)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 can condensed milk

Line 13x9 pan with aluminum foil (to cover sides also). Spray with Pam. Melt butter & pour in pan. Pour in chopped Teddy Grahams and press down. Bake at 325 for 5 minutes.
Then, layer Heath Bits, Candy Bars, chocolate chips, pecans; press down. Pour condensed milk over dessert. Bake for 30 minutes at 325.
Cool and cut into bars
